here is the link to the court precedent: https://curia.europa.eu/juris/liste.jsf?num=C-128/11

here is a little snippet of what it says :

the case UsedSoft GmbH v Oracle International Corp, the EU's Court of Justice explicitly ruled that people own their purchased software : ""the copyright holder transfers the right of ownership of the copy of the computer program to his customer"" 188.150.46.200 00:50, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
:I really hope this moves forward as a universal law. 2600:387:15:3019:0:0:0:6 18:23, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

Welcome!
This is the central page for the Consumer Rights Wiki's projects. If you want to get used to the wiki and make your first edits, these are a brilliant way to do that! Below you'll find a list of all projects currently active on the wiki.
Active projects
*Projects:Archive everything - an effort to get as many articles as possible using archive links instead of live links for important sources
*Projects:Cargo-complete - making sure articles have all the metadata they should
Suggestions
Feel free to suggest ideas, proposals, or project page drafts for new projects on the discussion page here. A good project will generally be some completable set of tasks where each individual edit required is fairly short and simple.

* Articles that need work
* Stub articles needing expansion
