Greetings, I believe that if the device&#039;s battery goes to low it MIGHT trigger it&#039;s &amp;quot;safety mecanism&amp;quot; and block it self as well. I don&#039;t remember dropping my payment terminal ever - BUT I did not use or charge it for a few months since most of my clients pay per IBAN bank transfer. Granted I took the terminal with me in my bag multiple times but don&#039;t remember dropping it. Luckily and also sadly (because e-waste) they replaced my terminal for free since it was still under warranty. I opened my &amp;quot;bricked&amp;quot; terminal out of curiosity after and saw the mecanisum how it was build. If I rememeber correctly there are pins/connectors that probably trigger the &amp;quot;brick&amp;quot; if disconnected/cover is removed.
