===Logitech Harmony discontinuation (''May 2025'')===
{{Main|Logitech Harmony}}
Logitech used to manufacture universal remotes, named Harmony. Some of the devices required the use of the Harmony Remote software in order to program them. In March of 2025, Logitech announced that they would discontinue support for the older remotes, rendering them unable to be reprogrammed after 28 May 2025.
===Logitech plans to brick Pop switches (''Oct. 2025'')===
On 15 October 2025, Logitech is switching off their Pop series of €130 smart home switches with just two weeks' notice, offering 15% store discount as compensation to United States customers through 31 March 2026 (with restrictions).<ref>{{Cite web |last=Floemer |first=Andreas |date=2 Oct 2025 |title=Logitech macht seine POP-Schalter unbrauchbar |trans-title=EOL: Logitech's POP switches will become electronic waste in a fortnight |url=https://www.heise.de/news/EOL-Logitechs-POP-Schalter-werden-in-zwei-Wochen-zu-Elektroschrott-10701386.html |access-date=2 Nov 2025 |website=Heise Online |url-status=live |url-access=limited<!-- consent or pay --> |language=de |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20251002131217/https://www.heise.de/news/EOL-Logitechs-POP-Schalter-werden-in-zwei-Wochen-zu-Elektroschrott-10701386.html |archive-date=2 Oct 2025}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web |last=Harding |first=Scharon |date=8 Oct 2025 |title=Logitech will brick its $100 Pop smart home buttons on October 15 |url=https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025/10/logitech-will-brick-its-100-pop-smart-home-buttons-on-october-15/ |access-date=2 Nov 2025 |website=Ars Technica |url-status=live |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20251008200502/https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025/10/logitech-will-brick-its-100-pop-smart-home-buttons-on-october-15/ |archive-date=8 Oct 2025}}</ref>
Logitech ceased production of Harmony products in 2021, and stopped support in May 2025, rendering remotes unable to be reprogrammed.
*[[Logitech G HUB]]: A piece of software used to control Logitech products. Some accessories are unable to be customized at all without this software, which is not Linux compatible.
*[[Logitech webcams]]: A line of C9xx webcams. Logitech silently removed h.264 encoding at some point without changing the model symbols.
