::::I might move this over to the talk article for the page, rather than keeping it here, as it's relevant to anyone who wants to edit the page. For now i'll stick a SloppyAI notice on it due to the broken references. In terms of renaming it, does it not allow you to use the 'Move page' option on the right sidebar? i thought that all confirmed users could do that but I may be mistaken. ::::::thanks keith, I will review back the reference for some validity and yes its ONSA not OSHA it might have been a huge typo and I didn't know how to edit the title. Regarding the reference the ones I've check so far are the ones that were 404. Chances are those pages got removed but not censored because there are still talks regarding the topic on those news pages themselves. I still cannot edit the reference myself considering I'm currently busy with life so if anyone as well could do it then go for it. Check back in like 2 weeks hopefully. Issues with Malaysia Article
[edit source]Hey Keith,
@Beanie Bo, if you're still around some help finding valid sources for this would be awesome, you were awesome the last time something like this happened, thanks for then.
Malaysia Online Safety Act 2025 (OSHA) [for CR 12:32, 9 February 2026]
Two things. One, I think you already figured it out but the links are mostly leading to 404's for the article. This could potentially all just be me, so please verify.
These references lead to something (Haven't checked validity) all the others don't:
Two, I think the article title abbreviation is supposed to be (ONSA) and not (OSHA) as it was written. I can't find (OSHA) in the laws, but I can find some stating (ONSA):
https://www.mcmc.gov.my/skmmgovmy/media/General/pdf2/ONSA-FAQ-English.pdf
https://www.mcmc.gov.my/en/onsa/home
https://www.nst.com.my/business/economy/2026/02/1370865/online-safety-act-changes-how-it-works
https://www.businesstoday.com.my/2026/01/01/online-safety-act-kicks-in-effective-today/
I don't think I can change the title (I really tried), so if you believe that the correct abbreviation is ONSA, then make the change. Left4Code (talk) 04:18, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- I'm going to try and condense the reference numbers down now. Left4Code (talk) 04:21, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- I've crunched everything down, going to try and mark the links I find 404'd as dead for anyone who wants to try and target the content. Left4Code (talk) 04:47, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
