Honda produces well established models such as the Accord, Civic, and CR-V, and is most known for their practicality and reliability at a price the average car buyer can afford.

Honda was named in the July 2024 [[Senators Wyden and Markey's letter]] to the FTC accusing them of selling customer data to the third party company [[Verisk]], who then resold the data in the form of "driver reports", which insurance companies used to increase customer's insurance premiums.<ref>https://www.wyden.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/wyden-markey_auto_privacy_letter_to_ftc.pdf</ref>  

In January 2025, Honda had a Memorandum of Understanding to merge with [[Nissan]],<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20241223105115/https://cnbc.com/2024/12/23/honda-and-nissan-merger-talks.html/</ref> however Honda and Nissan was unable to make an agreement on the conditions of the merger, and the merger has since been canceled.
