LG ThinQ and Download Cycles

I am shopping for a new dishwasher and I found that LG is also moving into cloud/app restricted features. They call them "download cycles".

According to the user guide, only one can be stored at a time. Absurd -- like memory storage was expensive.

The same issues apply:
