eBay AI in Europe/EEA

In Europe/EEA under the GDPR Opt-out is a forbidden scheme, as such if eBay is using it - it is breaking the spirit of the GDPR if not the letter...

I believe in California this is allowed but the users mus be notified and given the option to opt-out before data collection begins (please correct me if I'm wrong, not a US citizen). 46.10.161.186 14:17, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
