[Incident]

New Ford Mustang purchase February 2025 in Australia. Customer not informed that Connected Built-In Navigation is a timed trial that requires subscription at the end of the 12 month trial.

Emails received one month and one day prior to expiry explaining that a subscription is required to continue the service. This was the first time customer is informed that this service is a trial and requires subscription.

Service discontinued at end of trial period without subscription. Services removed at end of trial period: Real time traffic, dynamic rerouting, weather, live point of interest updates and map updates.

Subscription is AU$15 a month, or AU$110 annually.

Basic on-board GPS navigation continues to function without subscription.

Mustang is brilliant otherwise. :D
