Hello.

I was partly brought here after facing issues with my Bosch E-bike motor. It seems like the very moment a computer or wire is installed in a consumer product, greedy Bosch wants to take full control of it. Bosch warranties are written like they expect the customer to maintain their bike at a professional level but Bosch also seems to assume that customers are not smart enough to deserve access to the things they own. For example, I can't access diagnostic software to plug in a new light without going to a qualified bike shop. Also, their refusal to accept third party components is probably why they are able to get away with selling spare batteries for $1200. That's almost the price of the whole bike!
