Telstra is Australia's largest telecommunications carrier providing mobile, broadband and phone services to the Australian Market. Telstra provides 22.5 million retail mobile services and 3.4 Million data services. [1][2]

As of 28 October 2024 Telstra only provides 4G LTE and 5G Mobile Services and no longer offers 2G or 3G Mobile Services. Telstra competes with (Singtel) Optus and TPG/Vodafone in the Australian Mobile Network Market.

Telstra was originally a Government owned entity but was privatised to a fully private company in 2006. Telstra is currently listed as a publicly traded company on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
