Background
edit
[Incident]
editYahoo! implemented a change to their Terms of Service stipulating their mandatory use of third-party AI on customer data, specifically including e-mail and account content. The only provision to decline is to close the customer account. However, it is not possible to have done so before the data was already shared due to the date of implementation versus notification of the change.[2]
